panel detail

There will be an imminent,  full day workshop at the Discovery Glass Studio in Comber , possibly the 9th of June 2013.

Another class is scheduled for Sunday 11th August during this year’s Creative Peninsula week.

Both classes will include professional instruction in the “tiffany”/copper-foil method of glass working  to enable each student to successsfully create a panel in beautiful glass. The full day workshops still cost only £95 and include all materials, refreshments and a light vegetarian lunch. The work is intense but very enjoyable and educational. Suitable clothing and footwear must be worn. Class times are 9:30 a.m. to 5;00 p.m. but work continues until each student’s work is complete. Maximum 3 students. Please contact me for booking and/or more information.

I am giving an evening class on Wednesday 5th August at the Ards Arts Centre when a maximum of 8 students will create a glass light catcher. This is a great introductory lesson in “tiffany” glass. Please contact me or the Ards Arts Centre or Ards Crafts.

Two similar sessions are being held during Monday the 5th August at Larne Arts Centre, morning and afternoon.
