A Burne-Jones Gem of a Church

If you are ever in the Kidderminster area, please be sure to visit All Saints Church at Wilden. This absolute gem of a church was built for the local community by Alfred Baldwin, (father of Prime Minister Stanley Balwin). All 14 windows are by Edward Burne-Jones which gives a wonderful continuity to this lovely little red brick building. I was welcomed most warmly for Evensong by Dr Pamela Craven, Church Warden, and all at the church that Sunday evening.

Aswell as the stained glass there are other special items. Do visit to experience them all for yourselves.

An exhibition is currently being held at the Ruskin Glass Centre in Stourbridge as part of the 2012 International Festival of Glass. The Contemporary Glass Society invited all its members to create and exhibit a medallion relating to the Olympic games. To view all medallions (and buy!!!) please go to

North Lands Vessel. This glass vessel has been painted on its interior (quite challenging!) with black tracing, black matting and various coloured enamels with their subsequent kiln firings.

Angel Feathers Panel, one of the works featured in the “Space for Glass” Exhibition

I currently have an exhibition of a selection of my more challenging work at The Space Gallery which is in Ards Crafts (In the Tourist Information Centre), Newtownards until the end of May 2012.

Many of the pieces are the result of my experience at North Lands Creative Glass Centre last September and feature a modern slant on the very traditional craft of stained glass.
